Wednesday, August 11, 2010 3:54 PM   Term 3 Week 6 Learning Log Monday We had our Literature as per normal. Mr Chua gave us back our 2nd AYLT worksheet. After that he flashed the answers at the screen while explaining it question by question. Once done, he showed us a list of names and our learning log. He had assessed to our learning log and the results of what we done so far at our own blog, were shown. Some didn't update it, some halfway, some did. Luckily my name was not being highlighted but for me, that's not the best that I might have give so far. I'll try to give a little more best into it. Overall I think that assessing the learning log should be at the end of each week. This is to practice us to have the urge to update our own Literature blog without having to be called or delay-delaying the updating of our own blog. Thursday We moved on upon learning about The Might Mandarin. Each row were being told to read the characters that were told by Mr Chua. And when each row, their turn to read, they will have to stand followed by the next character. All the way of it, it was fun. There were some mistakes Mr Chua read wrongly with his tone voice. It's a good way to having different tone for different characters especially in Literature as there were dramas all that. After that, we were given a piece of worksheet on The Might Mandarin Worksheet 1. Next we were given a blank piece of paper. Mr Chua said that the piece of blank paper is for us to illustrate the description of the setting of The Mighty Mandarin. We are required to hand it up next lesson before the lesson start so as time are not wasted. Last but not least, Mr Chua called up some roles for the Shakespeare performances. He told them the duty that they need to carry out. I'm one of the actor in my group. I have to memorize the lines of my characters. I know its not that easy to memorize it that fast but with great determination, nothing is impossible. |
