Friday, May 7, 2010 7:49 PM     Term 2 Week 9 Learning Log Monday We had our last Literature lesson. Its either we had our last lesson with Ms Marly or either we will not be having Literature lesson anymore as if I'm not wrong, we will be learning Geography. Its quite sad as I really enjoyed most of the Literature lesson with both Ms Marly or Mr Chua. The lessons were all interesting and fun. Basically, Ms Marly went through with us on the revision worksheet of Merchant of Venice. Before that, we must exchanged our paper with our partner's. I exchanged it with Ebony. After we all finished marking our partner's paper, we exchanged it back. What we did during today's Literature lesson was mostly going through the revision worksheet of Merchant of Venice. Before the lesson ended, had a quick briefing on our Literature exam and good luck wishes. Friday We don't have Literature lesson as Mid-Year-Exam had started the day before which is on Thursday. Good Luck everyone who will be sitting for all their Mid-Year-Exams papers. Sunday, May 2, 2010 11:41 AM   Term 2 Week 8 Learning Log Monday We played Shakespearean Millionaire. The game was fun. It's like 'Don't forget the lyrics' where you must answer a question and if you get it right, you get a amount of money and then could proceed to the next question. But for this, we didn't get the money but points. Miss Marly told us to get together in our groups of either 4 or 5 where we had been allocated. We were then told to number ourselves in our group. Miss Marly will randomly called up the group number and the number of the person in the group. He or she will be given a multiple choice question. If he or she got it right, example like the question are about $250 but then if answer it correctly, you are given 250 points. Everybody was so eager to wait for their turn to answer it. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves with this game. Miss Marly also told us that all of us passed our Literature Macbeth acting which is a job well done. Thursday [ Miss Marly relief us for our History period] Our History teacher did not come. Miss Marly came to relief our class. Instead of letting us do our own work quietly which is impossible as we will talk to our friends, move about in the classroom, might as well Miss Marly give us some work to do. Miss Marly gave us a revision worksheet on Romeo & Juliet. It was quite easy for me because Romeo & Juliet story isn't that hard to remember how the story goes. After we all done, Miss Marly went through the multiple choice questions. As we had not much time, the rest of the questions we leave it and thus we handed in the worksheet to Miss Marly to mark it. Friday Miss Marly came in and we had our Literature lesson as usual. Miss Marly told us that this will be the 2nd last lessons with us. Everybody was quiet. I was shocked and sad. I enjoyed all of Miss Marly lessons with us. She made all the lessons interesting and fun. I became to like Literature now. Miss Marly then gave us a revision worksheet on Merchant of Venice. After we done doing the worksheet, Miss Marly wanted to go through the worksheet but we had to go to the hall for Prefects Investiture. So, the next Literature lesson which is on this Monday, we will go through the Merchant of Venice worksheet and it will be the last Literature lesson with Miss Marly. |
