Saturday, April 17, 2010 1:42 PM    Term 2 Week 7 Learning Log Monday The big day arrived. Miss Marly and Mr Chua came in. Miss Marly told us to push all the tables and chairs to the side. Supposed we performed at the Spectrum but as somethings we going on there, we had no choice but to do it in class. After that, Miss Marly gave us about 5 mins to get dress up and so on. Than as everybody was in the class, Miss Marly gave us a quick briefing before we start our acting. Mr Chua record the video of the 1st group that was acting while the rest, Shao Wen helped to record it as Mr Chua had to leave the class. While the 1st group was acting, the rest of us was sitting down on the floor watching them. When it was my group turn to act, my groupmates and I was quite nervous as the rest of our classmates we watching us acting. It was uncomfortable for us to act. After the rest except 1 group finished acting, Miss Marly was quite angry at all of us. She said that we done was 'rubbish'. So, we had a scolding from Miss Marly. Miss Marly scolded us because she wanted us to do well and passed the Macbeth performances. She then told us to go back and rearranged back our tables and chairs and get back to our seats. Miss Marly told us that she gave us 1 more chance to do it properly during our next Literature lesson which is on Friday. That's mean we have to re-do it all again. So this Friday, we all required to do our Macbeth performances properly. Friday The very important and big day for us. As usual, we all have to push all the tables and chairs to the side. Miss Marly told us that we all have to wait for our turn outside our classroom as 1 group by 1 group performed inside our classroom as some of us gave feedback that we were all not comfortable when the rest of us was watching us acting. Before that Mr Ang, our Vice-Principle, came in our class. We greeted him in shows of respect. Ms Marly told us that she gave us about 5-10mins to get ready. After we all ready, Miss Marly gave us a quick briefing before we start to perform. The 1st group perform first while the rest waited outside the classroom. Mr Ang was inside watching the performances. As usual, there are video camera to record all of our performances. As the rest was waiting outside our classroom to wait for our turn, we all were eager and quite nervous. Eventhough the rest of our classmates no longer watching us perform, I think that we were all still nervous maybe because of we were shy of the camera. As it was my group turn to perform, we all went in the classroom. We put all of our best to perform. After that Miss Marly told us to re-do it again as the rest of our classmates outside the classroom was making alot of noise. We then re-do it again. After that we all went outside while the other group performed. Miss Marly had to go in and out of the classroom to keep us quite while the performances took place. After all of it had settled, we all went in back to our classroom and rearranged back our tables and chairs before the lesson ended. |
